The village of Hopeman has various shops which cater for your basic everyday needs. The city of Elgin is less than 15 minutes away, where you will find well known high street chain stores and leisure facilities.
There are good restaurants within the area, such as the Duffus Inn. Sailing lessons are available at the Findhorn Marina.
There are many castles to visit in the Moray area and there is also the Malt Whisky trail which provides for an exciting day out, or maybe you would prefer to take a relaxing stroll on the various coastal walks.
